The Pacetti Bay Mission Statement
Pacetti Bay Middle School is dedicated to providing students a diverse education in a safe, supportive environment that promotes motivation, a love of learning, and self-discipline. Fay Makeup Day
All St. Johns County public schools will be in session on Friday, October 17 as a make-up day for the
school day lost during Tropical Storm Fay.
The St. Johns County School District was closed on Friday, August 22 because of severe weather
conditions.
October 17 was originally scheduled as a teacher in-service day but will now be a student attendance
day.
Florida Statute requires that public school students attend school for 180 days each year.

Dear Parents,
Our first day of school, along with parent orientation, was a great success. I am so appreciative of our teachers, staff members, parents and students for their flexibility and patience due to the cancellation of school on Friday. Our students have adjusted well to middle school and are following The Cat Expectations. I could not be prouder to be a part of the Pacetti Bay Middle School Wildcat family. It is going to be a GRRREAT year!

Message from guidance
The PSAT weill be administered to all interested 8th grade students currently taking Alg. 1 or higher on Wednesday, October 15th. The test fee is $15.00. If you wish your child to take this test please submit your payment to Mrs. Julie Vogel, Guidance Secretary by Friday October 10th. Please call Mr. Canoura if you have any questions at 574-8768.
