- a mock election, teaching children about the democratic process! Join us August 18th - 30th for surprise character debates, civic StoryTimes with guest appearances by the candidates.

10 a.m. ARTS - Patty Cake Paper - Patty cake, patty cake, baker's man! Make me some paper as fast as you can! Mix it and squish it and lay it out to dry. Come and join us, don’t be shy. This program promotes science, art, and fine motor skills.
*ARTS this month will be held on the plaza, weather permitting.
11 a.m. Playworks - Scrub in the Tub -
"But I don't WANT to take a bath! Why do I have to?" Life is full of teachable moments and the bath tub is a great place to start! Join us to talk about teeth and tubs. Take home a fun, messy project to use in your own shower. This program promotes science, speech, and cognitive skills.
11:30 a.m. StoryTime - Explore far away lands, hear wacky tales and share some giggles at our next StoryTime. Each one has a theme with stories and fun activities.
2:30 p.m. Make Believe Matinee - Moon Sand Castle - Act out at a fairy tale...in outer space. Then build a castle out of Moon Sand - special sand that holds in place even when it's dry! This program promotes literacy, social, and language skills.
