November 20th 2008—The Tampa Bay Rays today selected right-handed pitchers Wade Davis and Dale Thayer and lefthander Jake McGee to the 40-man roster.
November 14th 2008—Former Durham Bulls executive and Carolina League President Jim Mills passed away this morning in Southern Pines, NC. Mills played an integral role as president of the Carolina League in working with former Bulls owner Miles Wolff to bring the Bulls back to Durham in 1980.
