The Tucson Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce hosting Chamber Day at the Legislature has been a tradition for many years. Chambers of commerce from all over Arizona will convene at the State Capitol February 24 at 8 a.m. to demonstrate to the Legislators our involvement in the legislative process and to honor them with a catered lunch in a big tent on the House lawn.
It is expected that Gov.-in-waiting Jan Brewer will be the keynote speaker for our event. The cost to attend is $40, and all chamber members are invited. Details will be announced later in January with sponsorships available for companies to demonstrate their support of the TMCC and the legislators in attendance. Now that our Web site and online newsletter have been upgraded, you can now get Chamber News, our monthly newsletter, right here on our Web site each month.
Look to the left side of this page, under our "Coming Events" and you will find the current month's issue, and archives will be built as we go along so you can find earlier issues whenever you want.
We will soon be discontinuing the process of e-mailing out the newsletter, unless you make a request to have it e-mailed. If you have questions or comments, please let us know.
