Finally, someone’s raising the stakes: “LIVE with Regis and Kelly” and KB Home today announced the biggest contest in the popular morning show’s history: One lucky winner will win a brand new home worth up to $250,000 in the KB Home community of their choice in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina or Texas.

“Over the years, we've given away thousands of extravagant vacations and prizes, but this house is our biggest giveaway ever, and we're going to have a lot of fun with it,” said Michael Gelman, executive producer of “LIVE.”

A major part of the on-air excitement leading up to the May 21 on-air giveaway will involve watching Regis and Kelly preside over the construction of a 3000 sq. ft. craftsman-style model KB Home on the ABC studio lot in midtown Manhattan. The two hosts will select options from a KB Home Studio and customize the home of their dreams, just as the contest’s winner will.

“Regis and Kelly have brought down the house for years; we thought it was about time to put it back up again,” said KB Home chairman and CEO Bruce Karatz. “And what better way to do it than live on-air … in the middle of Manhattan?”

“If we’re crazy enough to build a house in Manhattan,” exclaimed Regis, “we’re crazy enough to give one away!”

Starting April 24, LIVE will air five daily clues – one each weekday through April 30. One viewer who sends in all five clues correctly will win a brand new KB home.
